Sera Helen (she/her) Hails from Te Papa-i-Oea/Palmerston North, Aotearoa/New Zealand and currently lives in Narrm / Melbourne Australia on Wurundjeri land. Sera is currently working at Hot Copper Studio in Preston, Naarm / Melbourne Australia.
Art making has always been a constant companion in various different mediums for Sera. After studying Visual Arts at RMIT in Narrm/Melbourne she spent time creating murals and exhibiting throughout the city till she eventually found tattooing and instantly fell in love.
Sera enjoys making tattoos in Black and Grey that draw from a fondness of old tattoo shop flash reimagined through the experience of a queer woman in a modern context. Using fine lines she brings together soft, intricate details with more bold, hard and sharp elements with the intention of imbuing a feeling of beauty and strength in anyone who wears her work.
